are allotted a two-year enrolment window and must adhere to assessment submission deadlines established by the RTO:

  • Once the learner has attended all tutorials and corresponding workshops (if applicable) for a unit the learner will be required to submit the assessment within a 6 month time frame
  • Failure to submit assessments by the due date will result in a non-progression warning.
  • If a learner’s course is financed in whole or in part by their employer, the employer will be informed of any non-progression.
  • If a learner has been issued a non-progression notice for two units, they are ineligible to attend further classes until they have submitted and received competency marks for at least one of the outstanding units.
  • If the non-progression is not rectified within the time frame set out in the notice, the learner will meet with the College Manager, this may result in the learner’s course being cancelled.
  • Should a learner cannot finish their course within the allocated two-year period, automatic cancellation will occur unless they fill out an extension form, available on the website. Learners can apply for a maximum of two extensions for their course. These will be available for a three-month time frame per extension, for a fee of $300 per application.
  • If the course remains incomplete after the extension period, it will be cancelled, and the learner must re-enrol, incurring additional fees.

Note: Failure to clear outstanding fees or adhere to payment plans may result in the suspension or cancellation of the learner’s course, excluding trainees and apprentices under the User Choice Funding arrangements.
