Sometimes moving into a Lead Educator role can be confronting.

This program is aimed at Early Childhood Educators that are starting their journey as a Lead Educator. This course gives them ways to handle situations that often arise in the Lead Educator role. To complete this course the Educator must have access to a mentor who is already in a Lead Educator or Management role. This will be set by their workplace.

Duration and Scheduling

This is a self paced online course which requires you to complete 8 sections to complete. These sections will cover the responsibilities of a Lead Educator, How to support your team and How to support parent with grievances.

The course takes between 8-10 hours to complete and you will need access to the internet and a device that can connect to the internet however we suggest that you complete the sections over a period of two weeks to allow time for reflection on the information gained.

Methods of Study

We use competency-based assessment for all assessment activities. Students prove competency with demonstrations of written knowledge. This assessment is completed online using the aXcelerate learning portal. You will be given access to this platform once you enrol into the course.

Cost

This course costs $200 per person.
