Q: Is there a demand for Montessori educators?

While the Montessori approach created by Maria Montessori is still relatively new to Australia, there is a growing demand for qualified Montessori Directresses, Montessori Teachers and Educators enrolled in a Montessori training program Australia-wide. This is largely due to the increasing number of parents interested in looking for alternative education options for their children. In addition, many early childhood educators who have undergone training are now trained in the Montessori method, which has helped increase qualified personnel availability. With the continued growth of the Montessori movement and more parents learning about Montessori practice and benefits to their child, the demand for qualified educators or educators willing to enrol in Montessori Studies will likely continue to increase in the coming years.
